Iceographs

In the “Iceographs”, the camera lens was replaced with a lens made of ice. The lens was shaped by the warmth of the hands. During the photographing or during the exposure, the lens changes, which becomes apparent immediately, like a painterly process. During a nude photo shoot, the lens melts and deforms and thus deforms the body – it seems as if the objective apparatus develops an organic life of its own that corresponds to the model.
