Work in progress: The seria „study of a notion“:

„Study of a notion“, seit 2015,

Hier wird in unterschiedlichen, zeitlichen Konstellationen und
Montagetechniken der Prozess des Abbrennens in eine neuartige
Skupltur transformieren. Auf Basis der „analogen“ Referenzen der einzelnen
Szenen wird das „Licht“/das „Feuer“, modelliert und auf seine Vielfalt der
Perzeptionen erforscht. So bildet die wiederholte Szene unterschiedliche
Formen, in der sich das Material, oder das Verhalten des Materials ändert
und ständig neue Wahrnehmungen oszillieren lässt. Zum Beispiel sind zwei Szenen (vorwärts
und rückwärts) übereinandergelegt („study of a notion no.2“).
Anfang und Ende sind gleichzeitig im Loop zu sehen und „brennen sich entgegen“…

Here the process of burning down will be transformed into a new form of
sculpture by different, temporal constellations and montage techniques.
On the basis of the „analogue“ references of the single scenes, the „light“/
the „fire“ is modeled and explored about its diversity of perceptions. So the
repeated scene builds different forms, in which the material, or the performance
of the material is changing and permanet new perceptions osciallte.
In the pictures on the right is a first form of the idea drafted. In the example
are two scenes (forward and backward) superposed („study of a notion no.2“).
