Daniel Braun gelingt es dabei auf fantastische Weise, eine gigantische Ferne meditativ vor Augen zu führen. Trotz der teilweise lapidar oder amateurhaft erscheinenden Aufnahmepraxis mit den ungleichen Gerätschafften, erfordert gerade diese Arbeitsweise die gekonnte Einschätzung und Handhabung der Unzulänglichkeiten. Die seit 2012 offen angelegte Serie umfasst mittlerweile über 1200 Planeten, deren fotografische Herausforderung mitunter die Vielfalt der Entdeckungen bezeugt. Jeder Einzelne entfaltet dabei als Unikat in der Größe von 30x24cm zu Papier gebracht seine eigene Aura, die sich über das Rätsel seiner doch irdischen Entstehung nährt.

The open multileveled seria since 2012 covers by now more than 1200 planets, whose photographic challenge occasionally shows the multiplicity of the discoveries. Each unique print unfolds a celestial aura, which is feed by the still mystery of its earthly genesis.
